The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a fire drill at the Clarke County Courthouse in the near future. This drill will require the full evacuation of the building. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office will be the only agency responding and directing the drill.
 

The purpose of the drill will be to:

1. Test the fire alarm system and other security systems at the courthouse;
2. Assess the emergency response of the Sheriff’s Office personnel;
3. Assess the egress of the occupants of the courthouse;
4. Identify any other issues that may need further attention.
