Deputies Fatima Smith, Christopher Haag, and John Paul Armstrong graduated from the Georgia Public Training Center Regional Academy Athens on March 16, 2007.

These Deputies participated in the ten week, 408 hours Basic Law Enforcement Training course as required by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council. The course provides instruction in the areas of criminal justice, criminal law, constitutional law, community relations, modern police procedures, firearms, emergency vehicle operations, and first aid training. The completion of this course represents the 211th session graduated by the Academy. These Deputies are employed with the Clarke County Sheriff's Office and assigned to the Jail Section.
